Sun belowed into the Leafclan clearing, warming every blade of grass in sight. A large, gray tabby tom padded out of the Leader's den, streaching in the sunlight. "Ah, what a beautiful Dawn!" He mewed, shaking the tiredness out of his short pelt. The tom trotted over to a bush, and sat down. The gray tabby started to groom his chest fur, licking out the moss that clung to his fur.

A large orange she-cat trotted into the camp,a mouse dangling from her jaws. "Good morning,"she greeted her leader cheerfully,setting the prey on the fresh kill pile. She then yawned and her green eyes shone with tiredness. But she sat anyway and licked her chest fur,which was glowing bright ginger in the sun like a flare. Hence her name,Flarestorm.
